The current social media climate and the beauty industry can reinforce feelings of self-doubt and perpetuate the message that beauty equals conformity.

In this 6-week workshop, participants will —

  • Learn the basics of beauty and skin

  • Cultivate greater self-acceptance

  • Develop deeper self-compassion

  • Decrease self-criticism through a variety of contemplative practices.

By the end of the educational and experiential series, participants will have tools to help them feel more comfortable in their own skin and embrace their inherent and authentic beauty. The series will include evidenced-based beauty and wellness practices such as journaling, mindfulness meditation and self-care facial techniques that will leave you glowing from the inside out!

 
  • Week 1: The Concept of Beauty

    Learn the science of beauty and how to liberate ourselves from beyond these boundaries of standards and connect to a place of love.

  • Week 2: Self-Care Reimagined

    Redefining self-care, incorporating more of it in our life and shifting our everyday routines into a lifestyle of soulful rituals.

  • Week 3: The Way We Age

    In this workshop we will learn about how our skin ages throughout the decades, and the internal and external factors that influence it. We will learn how to target skin concerns and develop an appreciation for our inherent beauty.

  • Week 4: Simplifying Skincare Science

    Get personal with your skin! Learn about the latest skincare ingredients that have been clinically researched to target your specific skin concerns. We’ll also learn additional skincare ritual secrets to elevate your experience in your skincare routine

  • Week 5: Skin physiology 101 + The Power of Touch

    Learn the basics of the skin and the power of Gua Sha facial. We will incorporate this ancient Asian healing method into our facial routine and learn how to sculpt, tone, and lift the skin while leaving the ultimate glow to your skin!

  • Week 6: Liberated Beauty

    Learn to look at beauty through the lens of self-love. We will learn loving-kindness practices that help increase self-compassion. You will also be guided through a special Kintsugi art-led activity where we learn to embrace imperfections and impermanence. A healing experience that is truly unforgettable!
